    112211 - Ballet, Tap & Jazz Combo

    Fun, energetic music and the basic knowledge of ballet, tap and jazz will be incorporated into these classes. Leotard, tights, tap shoes and either ballet or jazz shoes are required.

    Spring Ballet, Tap & Jazz Classes are open to Winter Ballet, Tap & Jazz Class participants through Monday, 3/8/2021 at 8:59 a.m. On 3/8/2021 at 9:00 a.m. our Spring Ballet, Tap & Jazz Classes will be open on a first-come, first-served basis.

    ENTRY/EXIT PROTOCOL
    1) This program is scheduled at the Farmington Community & Senior Center, 321 New Britain Avenue, Unionville.

    PUBLIC HEALTH PROTOCOL (subject to change)
    Please note that modifications/changes may be made per the State of CT due to the current public health situation.

    1) Farmington Recreation may divide registrants into age-based cohorts of up to 24 in our sport specific camps/clinics.

    2) It is expected that participants bring their own hand sanitizer. Farmington Recreation staff will schedule Healthy Hand Hygiene breaks as needed.

    3) Staff, vaccinated or unvaccinated, are no longer required to wear masks outdoors. The requirement for staff, vaccinated or unvaccinated, to wear masks indoors in childcare and youth camps settings will continue in accordance with OEC memos.

    4) Participants, vaccinated or unvaccinated, are no longer required to wear masks outdoors. The requirement for participants, vaccinated or unvaccinated, to wear masks indoors in childcare and youth camps settings will continue in accordance with OEC memos. Participants, vaccinated or unvaccinated, will be required to wear masks while traveling to and from field trip destinations (if applicable).

    5) If an event organizer, staff member, coach or participant who has been present in the program is diagnosed with COVID-19 or listed as a direct contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 the Town of Farmington’s Recreation Supervisor must be notified about the exposure.

    Per Connecticut General Statutes, programs that service children ages 7 - 19 who engage in an athletic activity such as an organized game or competition against another team or in preparation for a game or competition or who attend an athletic camp or clinic in which the purpose is to train, instruct, or prepare the participant to engage in an organized athletic game or competition to provide a written or electronic statement on the signs and symptoms of concussions to each athlete and parent/guardian upon registration.     112212 - Tiny Tots Dance Combo

    Fun, energetic music and the basic knowledge of dance movement will be introduced to children in the beginner Creative Movement class.

    Participants will need a leotard and ballet shoes.

    Children will learn ballet skills while exploring movements such as jumping, running, turning and leaping through the use of music and rhythms. Leotard, tights and ballet shoes are required.

    121101 - Coach Mac's Baseball Clinics

    121101 - Coach Mac's Baseball Clinics

    Directed by Coach Mike "Mac" McGuire and Coach Pendergast, participants will learn to play like they’re in the major leagues! This camp includes instruction on hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, base running, game strategy, and a discussion on the rules and regulations. Children need to bring a snack, water, and will receive a camp T-shirt.

    ENTRY/EXIT PROTOCOL
    1) Coach Mac's Baseball Clinics will be held Monday - Thursday at the River Glen Little League Complex in Farmington. In case of inclement weather, Friday will be used for a make-up date.

    2) It is expected that all participants will bring their own baseball equipment. It is expected that all participants will bring their own lunch (if applicable), snacks, and plenty of water.
